Description

While visiting Mount Rushmore, I was able to watch Jasmine Pickner-Bell and some of her children perform hoop dancing that told many stories of their culture. Jasmine Pickner-Bell was a world champion hoop dancer from the Crow Creek Dakota Sioux Tribe. She was kind enough to discuss some of her clothing with me after her dances. This is a picture of her dancing with Mount Rushmore in the background.
